The Redwood City Public Library system services include book and media loans, study and meeting rooms, literacy programs, community events, resources for job seekers, and college information for high school students and adult learners. A delivery service is available to homebound residents in the Downtown Library branch.

How to Apply

All California residents may complete the online form to register as a patron of the library. Cardholders will have limited privileges and library card will expire in 30 days. A temporary access code will be automatically displayed and sent to the email address provided. Keep this code to access services.

You can pick up your library card at any of the Redwood City library branches. Bring a photo ID and proof of current home address. Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent.
